Unable to sync my watch

Hello,

I'm unable to sync my watch again ... I have a forerunner 910xt and Garmin express installed on my W10 PC. I've tried to wire using the USB cable + ANT Key.

I don't know if this is a clue but I have the impression that synchronization is more likely to fail when I have multiple runs to sync.

I've tried to click on the synchronize button but it always end with the error message "An error occurred during the synchronization with Garmin Connect.

And that's the best case because the watch could also get stuck on the Transferring data screen until I do a soft reset.

I've also never managed to send all my trainings to the watch. There is always an error when I try to send multiple trainings. I've tried to create my own trainings but also the one proposed in the training page, same result.

Do you have some hints to make the sync work ?

I am a computer engineer so I understand bugs can occurs but I have the watch since last year and I've always had issues to sync. The watch seems to work fine when I run and analyze the datas.

    The Forerunner 910XT communicates with the ANT Stick only. When the USB cable/clip is connected, it is only charging the battery.

    I'm sorry but I'm a little confused about your statement that "synchronization is more likely to fail when I have multiple runs to sync". Does this mean that if you have single run/activity on the Forerunner 910XT it syncs with no error?

    Has the history on the Forerunner 910XT ever been deleted? As the memory on these devices are finite, when the memory starts to fill up, older data becomes truncated and the newer data can become corrupted. The errors uploading to and downloading from Garmin Connect can both be caused by this.

    I recommend removing the pending sync upload folder from your computer. You can move it to the desktop if there are files in there and you would like to keep them. If the files are in the folder but are corrupted, you may be able to get them repaired, there are other locations on this forum for doing so.     Delete older files off the Forerunner 910XT, any file that was successfully uploaded to Garmin Connect can be removed. Instructions to do so can be found on page 30 of the Owner's Manual.

    If the device still fails to sync, it would be best to contact Product Support by phone for further assistance.
