NuviCam Won't Update to 3.10

Hello,

I just purchased my NuviCam LMT for MENA and Europe edition from the local dealer here in Saudi Arabia.

Once I purchased it, I immediately updated it to the latest maps and software versions.

NuviCam updated successfully to software version 3.01 and all pre-installed MENA and Europe maps to 2016.10 and 2017.10.

Now when I connect my NuviCam to GarminExpress, it notifies me of a software version update 3.10.

I updated it successful from GarminExpress, the I go into unplugging my NuviCam from the PC in order to finish the update when booting up, but it won't complete the process and just boots up normally.

My NuviCam still says it has software version 3.01 and not 3.10.

My GarminExpress is updated to the latest version 4.1.19.0.

My second issue is that I have purchased South Africa map from Garmin in order to download it into my NuviCam, everything related to the Garmin Connector is working fine. It sees my NuviCam, and it download the Software Version update to it and it tell me to follow the instructions in order to finish the software version update in order to continue downloading the maps into the NuviCam, but I'm faced with the same issue as the above.

    I am sorry you are having trouble updating the firmware on your device and it is preventing you from downloading maps. We can use another program to install the firmware and it will usually solve the issue. Please follow these steps:
    • Connect your device to the computer.
    • Close Garmin Express if it opens.
    • Install the ">Garmin WebUpdater">Garmin WebUpdater and launch it.
    • When it loads, click "Next" on the first page.
    • On the second page, it should find your device. Click "Next" again.
    • Here, it should show a software update is available. Continue following the prompts and it should load the update file to your device.
      • If it says, "Your Garmin device already has the latest software version," choose to "Reinstall the same version".

    • When the update is done, you don't need to load "additional updates". Please click on "Cancel".
    • Disconnect the device and power it on.

    You should now have the updated software. If it did update correctly, please try downloading your maps again.

    I have the same issue. I tried to use the webupdater but it was not successful.. It keeps on saying :"The update was is corrupted." 

    I need an urgent help.

  • Given that this thread is over 5 years old and software versions of Express have moved on please start a new thread describing your issue. Thanks
