Garmin Express and eTrex 35t

Hi,

I cannot connect my eTrex 35t (Firmware 3.10) and Garmin Connect (v 4.1.19.0). Garmin Connect recognizes my device but says that it's not supported. I'm using original USB-Cable delivered with my device. Tried to use different USB Ports - no luck. I've Windows 10 installed.

Also in BaseCamp when I connect my device I get a warning "The following items cannot be transfered: 1. Waypoints, 2.Routes [...]"

  • I don't believe you can, you will need to manually import/export files into Connect if you wish to use it. For a handheld though BaseCamp is far more appropriate.

Please raise your other query in the BaseCamp forum.

strange, because Garmin almost everywhere is saying I should use Garmin Express. Even in the eTrex 35t Manual I can read:

Garmin Express provides easy access to these services for Garmin devices:
    • Product registration
    • Product manuals
    • Data uploads to Garmin Connect

  • Then I'm probably wrong :)

The Express team may be able to help, so wait for their reply.
