I would expect good documentation to specify what capacity SD cards the unit will take, whether it will take SDHC, what file system formats it accepts (FAT32/NTFS/exFAT etc.). Good documentation should also say whether the unit will find the card and just use it automatically or if there's some manual intervention required - what files I have to put where. The Garmin 'manual' more or less says "Bung in any old SD card and it be good, ya know".
Can anyone provide an intelligent description of what spec cards the Nuvi 2597 LMT EU takes and how to use the storage?
