Two activities today not uploaded after updating from Ant Agent to Garmin Express

Is it possible to upload two activities from my Garmin 910xt. I did these today. When I switched on my PC I was advised about new software. So I downloaded new software on PC and on 910XT. Afterwards, the two activities would not load on to Garmin Connect, Strava, or Training Peaks. I tried a test activity which did load but the two real activities for the day are missing.

    I am sorry you are unable to upload two of your activities and I am happy to help. If the test activity is uploading, then the program is working like it should. Most likely, these activities contain corrupt data that causes the transfer to fail. We can try to clear the "Sync" folder on the computer and then it can try to load these files again. Then, please create another test activity and try syncing again.

    If the data still doesn't upload, then unfortunately the files contain corrupt information and need to be deleted. We are sorry for any trouble this may cause.

    I deleted the file successfully, and I tried a test and that loaded successfully. So, going forward all should be well.

    The two missing activities haven't transferred over although I can still see them on the watch. It seems that I registered the activities before the software update, then did the software update before uploading the activities. After the software update maybe the two activities are not compatible. I have another pc which hasn't had a software update and will have a go to see it that one will recognize the two missing activities. In fact, it's not a vast problem in life and I've manually uploaded the activities to keep my record straight.

    Overall, I do enjoy my Garmin kit and especially like the flyby's.

    The Forerunner 910XT may think that those 2 activities have already been sent to Garmin Connect. I recommend deleting all activities that have been uploaded but those 2 and then performing a force send. Here is our FAQ to do so:

    If the activities still fail, you can check the sync folder you previously deleted. If there are .fit files in there, then you may be able to locate a way to fix them from other locations on the Garmin Forums (https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?29924-How-to-repair-a-fit-file). Otherwise, you can create manual activities and delete these from the device so they do not interfere with new activities. Corrupted data should be removed in order to prevent that.
