Cannot add Wifi via Garmin Express

Former Member
Former Member
I purchased a Tactix Bravo last night and cannot add/save a wifi network using Garmin Express.

This occurs with both a PC and Mac.

I sign into my Garmin Connect via Express, add a wifi network, sync.

However, when going to Settings > Wifi > Connect > Use Garmin Express to add a Network

I reconnect to Garmin Express and no networks were saved.

Any suggestions?

garmin still have not solve the issue on the wifi setting yet!!! just great!
  • lets connect through bluetooth for now till they sort it out, hey its still a nice watch to wear
  • I have found I cannot use 802.11 N. The range is too short. My Fenix3 sees the network but does not have enough power to talk back. I switched my router to B/G only and I have not had any issues after that.

So is your Tactix Bravo now connected to Wifi?

Same thing over here, I'm pretty sure its a software issue, guess we'll have to wait till they figure it out

We have opened up a ticket on this issue for further research. Unfortunately, we have no ETA on when this will be resolved but will post here with any developments.

Expresscustomercare, any updates or any confirmation as to what is causing this issue (device firmware? Garmin Express? hardware?) Is the issue specifically with the Tactix Bravo or have the Fenix 3 HR, Quatix 3, or any of the newer released watches experienced the same?
  • While we are still researching the issue, it appears to only affect the Tactix Bravo and Quatix 3. There is no ETA so far on a resolution but our engineers are actively working to resolve it as quickly as possible. Once it is resolved, we will post the resolution here.

Thank you everyone for your patience and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Same issue here, except my Tactic Bravo can't even seem to detect my wifi.
