Express doesn't fully recognize Approach S20

I have had a Nuvi for many years. I recently added an Approach S20. I was able to add the Approach S20 to my Express devices. Express recognizes that there are updates for the Approach S20. Express executes step 1 of 3, then claims an unexpected error.

When I am in Garmin Connect and request my device to sync, Connect tells me I need to install Express. When I follow the on screen instructions, I am told that Express is already installed.

If I spend way too much time working on this connectivity, I can get my activity synced. I have been unable to update my Approach S20 using Express. Any help will be appreciated. I paid too much money for this to only work half way. Thanks.

    I am sorry that you are having trouble syncing your approach. Please try the steps in the FAQ What should I do if I'm having issues with the Garmin Express client?

    If you are still having trouble, it would be best to contact Product Support by phone.
