Got back from a trip yesterday, synced my run from my trip that night fine.

Went for a run this morning, same device, no changes, run won't sync today. "There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect". Removed and readded the device. No dice.

I am sorry you are unable to sync your Forerunner 610 with Garmin Express. If it started failing without warning it is most likely some corrupt data in one or more of the newer activities. However, we can try some simpler steps first. Please try the steps in the FAQ, "">What can I try when my ANT Fitness device will not sync with Garmin Express?">What can I try when my ANT Fitness device will not sync with Garmin Express?"

If the article above doesn't solve the issue, we need to remove all the previously uploaded data from the watch. If you do not know the process to remove the data already uploaded, page 28 of the ">Owner's Manual">Owner's Manual tells you how. Then, please try to sync your data again.

If the Forerunner 610 still won't sync, it would be best to contact ">Product Support">Product Support via phone or email so we can provide more detailed steps to correct the problem.

    bad advice!

Ok, if you don't want to lose your unsynced runs, the above might be BAD advice!

I manually deleted a load of OLD runs, randomly across history, clearing about 2 months before my UNSYNCed runs, and a random set of older ones.

All of these old runs have synced previously fine, so weren't corrupted (afaik!)

Once I'd done that, I synced and voilà, fine. I'm wondering if there is a limit to how many runs the 610 can have in it to allow it to sync.

So DON'T just delete everything, try this first!
