I work in the Middle East and bought a Nuvi 55, which came pre-installed with an Arabic-only map. So I bought the Middle East map - a month ago- I have never been able to download it. First, what is wrong with Garmin Express that it is not compatible with most browsers? After fighting through that issue, I was never able to download the map because the Nuvi always gets caught up in software update that never completes. I've been round and round with Garmin tech support and they have been useless. At this point, I just want the money I spent on the map refunded. I'm going to have to eat the cost of the device because refunds are not really done here. Honestly, I should have just tried Google Maps on my phone before I wasted all of this money, since it turns out Google Maps work just fine here. I'm a cyclist and a heavy Garmin user, but this experience has made me really hate the company.
No need to respond customer service. i give up.
