Dashcam 20 - There was an error installing the update

I just acquired a Dashcam 20 device and wanted to update the firmware currently at 2.6 to the current version 3.8 but I receive the error "There was an error installing the update".

Here is a link to the video of me trying to update the firmware and the error.

I received the log files, thank you. In reviewing them, the errors indicate a communication issue between the device and the computer. Here is the information:

File copy failed after 1 attempts with system error codes 1117 (This is a Microsoft Windows error code)

    Definition from Microsoft:
ERROR_IO_DEVICE: 1117 (0x45D); The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.

Typically the 1117 error is a result of how the device is connected to the computer. Garmin devices should be connected to a port directly to the computer, no hub or extension cable should be used. If you are using a desktop computer, the device should be connected to a port on the back of the tower, not the front. If using a laptop computer, you may need to use a port on the other side and not one on a docking station. You may also need to try another cable and/or disconnect other USB devices except for the keyboard and mouse if using them.

If you still get the error installing the update after this, contact Product Support by phone for further assistance.
