Garmin Express does not find the Forerunner 110

Garmin Express Version 4.1.13.0 running on Windows 10 pro does not find my Forerunner 110.

    I am sorry Garmin Express does not recognize the Forerunner 110. The Forerunner 110 is a mass storage device and uses the Microsoft USB mass storage device drivers. Garmin Express won't detect the device until Windows does. Please use the FAQ below to verify Windows is able to detect the device as a "Device with Removable Storage". Once the device is available as a drive letter in the "This PC" window try adding it to Garmin Express. If the device is already added to Garmin Express but the detected icon is not green, make sure Garmin Express is up to date. Delete it and re-add it again if needed.

    I've got the Forerunner 210 and am having a similar issue. I've been successfully using the Garmin Express since it came out, but now this is the second time it's stopped working. I attempted to follow the directions linked in your response to the original poster, but when I get to Step 7, I don't get any prompt after "Software Loader" appears on my watch and, skipping to Step 8, nothing more occurs once releasing the Start/Stop button.

    Am I misinterpreting the instructions? If I don't get the prompt, am I not supposed to release the Start/Stop button?

    I don't believe you should be getting the "Software Loader" message. This sounds like the Forerunner 210 is trying to update it's firmware. Does it operate normally when not connected? Does it charge when it is connected to the computer? Here is a FAQ that includes more trouble shooting plus a soft reset for the 210.

If not then there is a device issue and you should contact Product Support by phone.
