I connected my C550 to a new computer today with more disk space to download the latest maps for my lifetime subscription. I had to install the latest Garmin Express (4.1.12.0) so it would get the updates. Express would not see the c550, so I downloaded the Garmin USB drivers, and the GPS and the SD card show up in Windows File Explorer as 2 drives. Express still does not see the c550, even after server reboots, switching USB ports, and stopping what I though were competing processes for USB enumeration upon plugin (Apple, Plantronics, etc.).
Please advise.:confused:
