Update 4.1.12.0 Download Failed

Windows 10 / Currently at Express Ver. 4.1.10.0 / User account has Admin / No known computer issues / Running AVG Free anti-virus and tried disabling it and Win firewall.

The Express update starts downloading and then fails after the d-load bar gets maybe 25%. The same thing happened every time I tried to update to 4.1.11.0.

All other software upgrades/updates with no issues.

Any hints to get an Express Update download to go without jumping through hoops? Thanks.

I am sorry for the troubles. If Express will not update through the application I suggest you uninstall it then download and install the latest version.

Download the latest version from www.garmin.com/express

If you continue to have troubles please contact Product Support by phone so the issue can be investigated.

Thank you, sir! I was hoping to avoid going the uninstall/re-install route, but sometimes you have to do a clean install. The clean install worked and I'm currently at Express Ver. 4.1.12.0

Any idea 'why' Garmin Express quit doing the simple 'press the button' updates?

BTW, my Edge 510 was and is at Ver. 4.30 if that matters.

Doubt if anyone knows why you needed to do an uninstall then reinstall. PC's can be funny things at times :)

Update 4.1.12.0 download failed

Mine failed too, same complaint as CampyBob. I'm going to do the remove program/install new route too.
