Garmin Express Installation File - Won't execute/run on VISTA SP2

Been forced to download the dreaded Garmin Express so I can send a course to my Edge 705.

So i download Garmin Express and when I double click the downloaded file nothing happens.
The .exe doesn't execute. I don't get any pop up window or anything. It's as if i have downloaded a dead file.

Can some help me get this sorted.

Running Vista SP2.

It sounds you may have gotten and installer from a third party site. Please download the the GarminExpressInstaller.exe file from one of the sites below. You may need to disable anti-virus or internet protection software before starting the install.

You can also try downloading it from this link:

http://download.garmin.com/omt/express/B/GarminExpressInstaller.exe

If you continue to have troubles I suggest you contact Product Support by phone.

Hi. Its not 3rd party.
I downloaded it from the garmin web site. Have tried disabling anti virus and firewall.

Guess I'll have to phone the support line :( how grim! As if i didnt have enough things to do.

Everything worked fine untill Garmin Express.. :(
