Dumb question: are POI updates included in map updates?

I know this must be a really basic question, but I really have looked everywhere for it. Are POI updates included in map updates, or are they found somewhere else, and if so, where? Thanks!
I am happy to answer your question. The Points of Interest (POIs) updates we provide are included in the map updates. So if you update maps, you will have the latest POIs.
