Nuvi 50LM and microSD card

I have three 50LM units in the household and recognize I need to increase memory to update them with the current North American maps released last month.

When inserting the microSD card, it doesn't feel like it is completely installed. By comparison, I have a 1450LMT and when inserting the microSD card in that unit, I can feel it 'set' and lock in. When I remove the card, it has a 'spring load' feel so I press in on the card and it releases from the unit. It doesn't behave this way on any of my 50LM units. Is this 'just the way it is'?

Don't have a 50 but if it's locking in place then all is well. However this isn't an Express issue.

The micro SD card on the nuvi 50LM is not spring loaded like on your nuvi 1450. The card slides and there is no click. If the card is fully seated in the device, when connected to the computer, it should appear as a drive or as storage.
