Garmin Express - 'servers unavailable at this time' . Any fixes?

I'm being repeatedly blocked in the last few days by the above message when trying to download from a 610.
Anyone have any fixes?

I guess it's too much trouble for Garmin to fix this system!
How can a company be so obsessed with flogging hardware, but then leave the much vaunted cloud tools in such a hopeless state.
Make me fell happy to have an SRM on the bike.

    If you continue to have trouble please contact Garmin Product Support by phone so the issue can be thoroughly investigated.

    I just picked up a new Foreruner 920 XT and was having the same problem. Turns out I was currently logged in to Garmin Connect on my mac. Once I logged out, I was able to add my new device.
