Garmin express for Mac tried to install the newests EU maps on 2597 (lifeteime map suppport) -informed that they are not fitting and suggested installing on the 16 GB SD card that had the maps also before. Installation started and maps were downladed, but after a while there was allways an error. When using the PC version of Express, the program informs that the map is not fitting and a region should be selected for install (no suggestion of using the sd).
A regional map installs succesfully, but with compromised functionality (sound commands missing etc.)
The previus update was successful with the mac version of Express, after that the mac wus updated to El Capitan. The 2597 internal memory and the sd can be seen both by mac and Win Computers, The sd was reformatted to Fata32 with no avail.
Interestingly, the garmin map updater sees the sd and suggest installing the Eu citi navigation maps on it.
What could be the cause of this?
