I am trying to update my Forerunner 220 and am having problems. When I put the watch in the cradle windows 10 tells me it can't recognize the device. In Express it tells me that it can't find the device. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall with no luck. Any other suggestions?
Change to Polar instead, sorry but after afew months of after every workout getting the same message can't find USB, remove device, reinstall device, sometimes finds, remove Garmin Express, re-intall Garmin Express I have changed to Polar, we are a bunch of 30 Coached Athletes and we are all now using Polar instead and uploading data to Training Peaks for our Coach to view, it got to the stage where on our weekly calls no-one had anything to discuss apart from how crap Garmin Express is and the expense of changing devices has been so worth it to my stress levels, don't know whats happened as I had been using Garmin for circa 8 years but gone downhill and no option to upload anyother way, now no stress, load workouts daily, no problems, happy athlete ;0)
Go to the USB trouble shoot that Lisa suggested, and 99% of the time your problems are solved on Windows 10. My 220 and my girls 225 work both without a hitch on Win 10...
