Express not logging me in to Connect

Greetings

I have two devices, a 220 and a 920xt. Garmin Express sees them okay and uploads the data to Connect, but when I click on the notification bubble it takes me to the Connect homepage. I then have to manually go to the login screen and take it from there.

On a previous Win 7 PC it would automatically log me in and to the latest run. Then for some reason it stopped doing that - I lived with it but thought that on a new Win 10 PC it would reset itself. But no.

I'm figuring that it's an Express issue because both devices behave the same. Express is up to date and the logins are correct.

What am I doing wrong? It's not a dealbreaker to have to manually get into Connect (first-world problems and all that) but can anyone advise? Thanks in advance ...

    I am sorry that you are having trouble. I would first recommend clearing the cache in your browser.

    If this doesn't work, you can try re-entering your Garmin Connect credentials if you haven't tried this already:
    • Open Express
    • Select your device
    • Click Tools
    • Click the Garmin Connect tab
    • Click Change Account
    • Re-enter credentials
    • Click sign-in

    Thanks for this. Unfortunately, it hasn't resolved the issue on the FR220. I've yet to try it with the FR920XT. Same thing happens when I click on the notification bubble - takes me to Connect homepage. But if I open Express and click on "View my activities etc" it does log me in automatically. Odd.
