Error Updating NUVI's With Garmin Express

[FONT=Arial Black]I am getting an error when trying to update my three NUVI's (2557LMT, 1350LMT and 40LM) via Garmin Express (version 4.1.8.0) on my PC running Windows 7. The error message I am receiving is: "There was an error installing the update". The update fails every time the download reaches 50%. Please help![/FONT]

I did almost everything in the link, but when I try to update the firmware, it fails at 50%. I feel I'm between a rock and a hard place.

I am sorry for the troubles. The previous FAQ suggestion is more for if your having trouble downloading the Downloadable Content Maps directly from garmin.com. While it has some good suggestions, please see the FAQ below that is specifically geared toward download issues with Garmin Express.

What should I do if I am having problems downloading updates in Garmin Express?
