Forerunner 10 Lost Data and Not Syncing

Went to sync my Forerunner 10 this morning. The pc recognises it and says it has synced. It hasn't. All my run history has vanished from the watch (including my first half marathon data! :mad: ) but the records are still there, including the half marathon data. The records haven't synced to the computer either. On Garmin Connect it shows last synced as 29th Sept (which is correct) but it should have synced today. Any thoughts please? I've tried cleaning the contacts, re-installing Garmin Express, removing watch from Garmin Connect and then re-installing it. I accept that my data is gone, but why has it happened? Thanks

    Your account has the half marathon plus another run from yesterday. It looks like you got the sync issue straightened out. Garmin Express will not delete the activity files from the device automatically, so even if a sync fails the activity should still be on the watch.     I'm having the same issue.  I have info. stored on my forrunner 10 and it's not downloading into garmin or strava.  It's syncing, but no info. has been transferred.  I've had this issue before too.  Any suggetstions.
