I have tried to install the spanish language text on my garmin nuvi 2495, with no success. It "might" (understatement here) have to do with the fact that:
- some months ago there was not enough space in the device to update the maps, so I deleted (my bad) all the files in the root directory of the device, and then tried to reinstall everything
- voice is installed (but I remember having a wider range of voices available to choose from) but I cannot select spanish as the text language, nor cannot I use the voice commands in spanish
So, is there a way to completely install again EVERYTHING on the device (a sort of complete fresh install, like when you format a computer and then reinstall everything). Or to simply be able to reinstall text language files?
They do not appear on Garmin Express. I have tried also regenerating the GarminDevice.xml, and also trying Web Updater, with no success. I don't know what to do (and yes, I know I screwed it big time when deleting some files without knowing what I was doing).
But, is there anything I can do to fix this?
