Has express been "updated" again as now it won't transfer workouts from Connect to my 310 XT. Every time you guys update the software there is another problem..
If you are having trouble syncing from Connect to your Forerunner 310XT check the Sync menu in on the left in your Connect account. If an item remains after a failed sync attempt, delete it then send it again from the Workouts menu. The test activity was able to upload to your account, there just seemed to be an issue with the Workout file getting to the device. If you continue to have troubles please contact Garmin Product Support by phone.
Guess what, deleted Express and re installed it, and was able to upload my work out to my 310XT. SO I guess it wasn't my watch...... sick of having to do this every time you release an update. I had I really try hard not to be rude and abusive about you products in this post.
Since you did not tell us what version of GE you were previously running, and what version of GE you are currently running, it is not possible to tell whether or not you re-installed the same version.
When posting, it is best to give a many details as possible about versions, etc
If you run into issues in the future you might use the articles below to identify the locations on the computer where files are stored before and after Syncing with Connect. Clearing these files serves basically the same purpose as uninstalling Express. These will prepare you for what happens behind the scenes and help you troubleshoot future sync issues.
What can I try when my ANT Fitness device will not sync with Garmin Express?
How do I remove FIT files that fail to sync in Garmin Express from my computer? The FIT_TYPE_4 folder in the Sync\UnitIDofdevice\FIT_TYPE_4 path holds activity files from the watch before they are uploaded to Connect. This folder should be empty after each successful sync. If you are missing an activity in Connect after a successful sync, check this folder. You can add the .FIT extension to the file name if needed then manually upload it to Connect. From the Dashboard page click the + (plus sign) icon in the upper right then click the Manual Upload tab and follow the instructions. If the filename.FIT file is rejected by Connect then it contains corrupt data. There are other threads in the forums for fixing .FIT files but this is not supported by Garmin.
Where are my activity files stored after ANT+ transfer to Garmin Connect? Files in this location are essentially back ups for activity files successfully uploaded to Connect. If you delete an activity from Connect then you can manually upload it from here. Deleting files from this location is generally not needed.
Again, I am sorry for the troubles. Let us know if you have any other questions.
