    Bug

When editing the layover of a hiking segment of a mixed travel route BC incorrectly clears "hiking" and reverts the segment to "driving".

See below. The left image is before editing. The right image is after changing the layover time from 10 min to 15 min and nothing else. Notice how BC has changed hiking to driving.

    incompatibilité logiciel avec windows 10

La version de BaseCamp v4.5.2 est incompatible :( avec Windows 10.
J'espère que Garmin va agir rapidement, car faire un parcours sur le GPS est galère !..
  • Basecamp works perfectly well with Win10. Are you using the French version? Does it work if you switch to English?

Lots of people are using it on Windows 10. Maybe, you should describe the problem you are having in detail.
  • BaseCamp Update & Possible Error

Intially the BaseCamp update got hung up, closed out and then reopened the EXE file. Seems to work fine.

Had noticed about a month ago that when I click on the tracks that I just imported from my GPS device and go to the Properties tab, the ascent/descent figures do NOT agree with my GPS device ... they used to. Haven't pulled up old tracks to see when it first got off. Has anyone else noticed this?

    Dump YELP

Is there any way to replace YELP with something better ?

I find most of the results are too old and too few to be of much use. some of my searches were dated as 2010 for the latest info which in internet terms is way beyond its sell by date as some places no longer exist !!

Love that it has something like it has but honestly old yelp data doesn't cut it.

Been planning a quite long euro tour and find that I use the yelp option to get a baseline set of results, and then have to CP stuff from it and use Google or Michelin etc to get current results.

Having extra online maps open to get decent information sort of makes basecamp mostly redundant at that point.
  • There seems to be an issue when sending waypoints with complex text in the notes field (waypoints coming from wikiloc files on google earth for example), they have a number of tags, when I send them to a garmin epix, the progress bar on the epix internal storage keeps with the exclamation symbol in yellow, and if I eject the unit after waiting quite a lot of time, the waypoints are not visible under saved locations. I had to remove all text from the notes field to have the waypoints tranfer ok

Recalculating Route when just trying to move Waypoint

Hi, I updated to 4.5.2 and since I updated I'm not able to fine tune routes anymore, I'm trying to make small changes to waypoints on a mountain run route but when i move any waypoint it causes the route to recalculate significantly. I've attached a screen grab of before and after.
  • Looks like you've selected a map that isn't routeable along that route, or you don't have direct activity selected. More likely the latter as the map appears the same.
