62s and Windows 10?

I just upgraded to Win 10. Upgraded Basecamp to 4.5.1

Now, when I connect my 62s it seems that Win 10 recognizes it but Basecamp does not.

I've tried connecting the 62s first then starting Basecamp and the other way around.

Things worked as they should in Win 7.

Any ideas?

I've seen comments on other threads that Win10 doesn't load all the drivers necessary, causing problems with various programs.

Your best bet would be to contact Support by phone so they can troubleshoot the problem.

Did u try installing Garmin Express? Does this program detect your device?

i have windows 10 on my girls laptop, it connects with all my Garmin devices with no problems at all.

I just downloaded and installed Garmin Express. It recognizes the GPS but still no go in Basecamp.

Well.... A couple of hours on the phone with support and still no go.

I think I may fall back to Win 7.

Garmin Express can see the GPS just fine.

See if there is an update to the 62s in Garmin Express. I am on W10 and just hooked up my 62s with no issues. I did update the 62s' firmware about 2 weeks ago and that may include better interfacing with W10. In any case both my workstation and laptops communicate fine with W10. I also just updated to the 452 update of Basecamp and while the auto downloaded installer was corrupt, downloaded it off the Garmin download page and still works with the 62s.
