I have had my Fenix 3 freeze solid to the poiit Garmin agreed to an RMA simply by transferring tracks, courses and way[points from BAsecamp (4.5) to the watch.
Its now confirmed as per email from Level 2 support at Garmin - FUMING!!!!:mad:

You recently contacted Garmin Australasia regarding your Garmin Fenix 3 watch and sending files utilizing Garmin Basecamp application.
It is unfortunate to say that Garmin Basecamp application is not compatible with Garmin Fenix 3 at this stage. No routes ,way-points or tracks can be successfully transferred to Fenix 3.
