Show way points and tracks

BaseCamp 4.5.1 Windows 10

In my Basecamp library (top left hand) I have a folder of Tracks 100+ downloaded from my Oregon 650 and Geocache Way-points 2000+ downloaded from GSAK.
I can show Tracks one at a time, and I can show all waypoints, what I would like to do is show all tracks and waypoints at the same time.

Is there a way of doing this?

Basecamp will show all data in the selected folder or list so if you want to see it all at the same time just ensure you select the folder the lists are contained in, or combine the two lists into one.

How do I only show a single route or track at a time when the folder contains a number of routes?

No, but what you can do is send the item of interest to an empty list, then select the list. When you are done viewing the item Remove it from the list (lower left pane) or Remove the List and All Unique Content (from the upper left pane).

BaseCamp uses Folders and Lists to organize and cross reference items in the database. Lists do not actually contain items they contain references to items in the database. When an item is placed in mutiple lists, it is not multiple copies of the item, just a copy the reference to a single item in the database. Make a change to something in one list, it changes the item in the database and therefore in all lists. So, if you want to keep an original item but edit/play around with it, Duplicate it (not Copy) before editing.

OK. Thanks. As I am increasingly finding, it is doable, but would be so much easier with a bit of development by Garmin.
