Nuvi 2757 changes google map route....

I create a route with google maps and load it into basecamp and check it and its just like I want to run it....same as on the google map route.
I import the route to my Nuvi 2757 and its there when I go to "Trip Planner" and chose the route only to find out that the 2757 has calculated the route as if I had not run it from the trip planner...
I seem to remember seeing something on here awhile back about deselecting or selecting some option before loading the map into the GPS unit but I not find anything dealing with this subject anywhere.
Any help would be much appreciated!!

I don't use Google maps but if it were me I'd load the trip into Basecamp and recreate it using the Basecamp tools, then send that route to my nuvi.

I believe the options in Basecamp you're referring to are under Edit, Options, Device Transfer. You may find playing with those help you.

I tried BC for a few trips and it is so clunky...are for me for it is compared to google maps.
BC maps are not user friendly for me, have a hard time finding a lot of street addresses and when manually changing the route to suit me it is herky jerky and often leaves me with loop de loops and such...also has me turning in to open meadows or fields where there are no roads.
But maybe I'm not using it correctly.

I have looked at the Edit, Options, Device Transfer options and for some reason that rings a bell as to the way to keep the google map route as it's planned and not let the 2757 recalculate it.

But thanks for the reply and I will continue to work with BC and see if I can work through its and my clunky interface with each other.
