Btw is it correct if one by one sublists from BC main root and send it to device via righ click option to nuvi ? Or better to send whole root ?

And what ist the best option to delete all point routes etc ? just clean of device "GPX' catalogue via PC ?

You've raised this elsewhere. As I answered then routes sent to your nuvi will appear in unscheduled trips in the trip planner app.

I have noticed that when I'm sending data from BC to nuvi its very often do not copy trips but just points only.

This behavior depends on the particular model of nuvi that you have, and there are enough different models that I can't speak correctly about all of them. Some nuvi's accept complete routes, some only accept waypoints.

The 3590 that I use does accept routes and this works very nicely with the Trip Planner app in the nuvi (when I specify days for the various routes).

Hi tested once again "trip" today and works great. Also in tool and in nuvi - now I understand idea of selection first via point etc
So I'm very happy as I have much better screen quality than 1490 and similar functionality with trips what is very important for me

I found this a bit to get used to myself, after upgrading from a 760 to 65LM. The new way is better, though. With the 760, I had two choices; Navigate from the beginning of the route, or joining the route somewhere in the middle. The second option often came in when we left our route for lunch and then wanted to rejoin the route. When rejoining the route, the 760 would only say 'please go to highlighted route' and provide no navigation to get there. Wasn't a problem with a short pull-off from the highway, but if we went a few miles off the route, navigation back would have been nice.

This new option in the 65LM provides navigation to the next point in the route, and then continues the route. On occasion, I have had to think about where we are, and what the next point to continue should be. But otherwise, it works much better.

after further tests I have noticed that sending trips and points created in Basecamp (ver 4.5.2, installed maps City Navigator NT 2016.2 – used with my second Nuvi - 1490, maps City Navigator NTU 2016.3 – used with Nuvi 3590, UMP maps) to Nuvi 3590 seems to still not work perfect. Maybe I do something wrong and you could point out what :

- I have created a few lists for different activities (like Croatia, village, work) and in each of these list I put inside few different points and trips with common points like Home etc
- As I had issue in the past with sending data from BC to Nuvi I got advice to use external USB. So I’m sending the BC data list to "user data" on the external USB. I've tried different options I mean sending lists one by one or my whole collection through the "Send to ..." option in BC to USB
- Then on USB there is created catalogue Garmin\GPX and corresponding files appearing inside: "Waypoints.gpx" and many "RouteX.gpx". All I do is to copy these files to Nuvi GPX catalogue
- And everything seems to be fine, because when switch on Nuvi then the points are categorized in Where to\Saved as BC created lists and it is cool. Going into Applications \Travel plan planned trips are also visible after the while
- Everything looked ok until I carefully checked the routes. It turns out that in some of them there are missing important via points which have been created during BC trip planning. It means Nuvi can change planned trip for example and do not go via scheduled points. I noticed it in few trips not in all that there are missing points (coppied 14 trips) and few of for example 40 points were not coppied at all to Nuvi.

I would add that I did similar excercise with my second Garmin 1490 (via external USB or even copy complete gpx files exported from BC) and all points and routes were coppied correctly (less number of routes as 1490 manages up to 10 routes of course).

So Im going crazy with this nice 3590 device. Maybe I have some wrong setting in Basecamp (in Base Camp I have marked only marked "dirt roads" to be avoided) ? Or I do not know what. Maybe my device is broken or has some SW bug. I tried to restore all settings but no change.
Maybe anyone else had such issue and solved it ? Now Im afraid to take 3590 to Croatia for example as I do not trust it and maybe I will take 1490 which never let me down...

I suspect you're simply trying to include too many points, see this FAQ https://support.garmin.com/support/searchSupport/case.faces?caseId={27edcdb0-0c86-11dd-dc9c-000000000000}

You can have a maximum of 30 points in a route on your 3590, but many more on your 1490.

If you need more on your 3590 then change some of them to shaping points, but 30 points should be more than ample.

all points in main root is about 40. In each trip I have 4-8 points. So is it better to use shaping points ? Is it not treated as a via point ?
I will try this week also send trips and points directly from BC towards Nuvi. Any idea how to do it ? Send complete list, or point by point or complete main root ?

Shaping points don't count towards the 30 point limit on your 3590, and you can have up to 125 shaping points.

To send a route I just send the route, no need to send anything else.

it seems it is much much better results if I'm sending all waypoints and trips directly to User Data on SD card in Nuvi....
Not to external usb, not to GPX catalogue in Nuvi but to it's memory card.
