Seeing TOPO UK & Ireland Light

I have Basecamp installed on my pc and an Oregon 600.
When the device is connected I can see TOPO UK & Ireland on my screen. However if I disconnect my device this map disappears and all I have is the Global map. How do I get the TOPO map to display when my device is not connected? All of the maps that I have downloaded are also visible

It just means that that map has not been installed. Usually if you have lifetime maps, or a map update, when going through Garmin Express there is an option to install the map on your computer. If you are having trouble with this, support can help you.

I have installed Garmin Express and I cannot see anyway there to transfer my maps which are on my device into Basecamp. I have seen a reply which states that I could copy the contents of 'garmin' on my device to an sd card and leave that inserted into my pc, but that is not really a satisfactory solution. I have been using this method but it is not ideal. What is the correct method? I have the latest Basecamp installed and I can see no way of getting the maps from my Garmin Oregon 600 into Basecamp
