I am new to Base Camp and am using v4.5' I have a large file of custom POIs on my Garmin sat nav, based on a .CSV file on my PC. I have tried to convert this to a GPX file and load it into My Data on Base Camp. This was successful but the new file only has the Longitude, latitude and name of the POI. It omits the inormation field, which shows on my sat nav. Is it possible to have this field on a gpx file, or is there another way of doing this?
If you use a text editor to look in the GPX file you created (it's just a text file) you should see the information field in there. The structure of a GPX file is pretty obvious when you start looking at it. The information field is a standard item in GPX files if the original waypoint/POI contained it.
If it's not in the GPX file you used, it's either the app that created the GPX file not putting it in or Basecamp is ignoring it on import.
