Can't Unlock City Navigator after update

In Base Camp, AFTER the update, the maps are locked. When I try to unlock them, it takes me to the unlock maps page, where I enter the information and can't get an unlock key.
  • try the steps in this FAQ

I had the same problem. Did you just convert to Windows 10? I called Garmin Support and they sent me a file to upload and that corrected the problem.

Note, clicking on the above link gets me an error page.
  • If you get an error page google Why are the maps still locked in the mapping application after completing the Unlock Online process
  • Unable to save unlock codes to your Mac/PC ( windows 10 )

    Hi

have some Garmin GPS, and a lot of Maps, I even saved all of the keys and codes.
After updating to windows 10, I reinstalled all Garmin programs, and then the maps from the DVDs, all worked fine.
But when I tried to retrieve the so called unlocks, the internet explorer says : Unable to save unlock codes to your Mac/PC.

Now since all other web browsers does not support the garmin communicator plug in, the options are limited to either the microsoft internet explorer, or the garmin version, where you can download a simple version of the internet explorer, but both ways does not work.

Hope someone here can help, I need to reload the topo maps back to my Garmin GPS devices.

Updated Maps via Express are working fine, but the Maps installed from the DVDs are causing these problems.

    My DVDs containing Topo GermanyV6 AustriaV3 MoroccoV2 ItalyV2 and Denmark1.

    ...thanks for any advice!

You said you saved the codes, can you explain? In {Maps->Manage Map Products->Unlock Regions} there is an import/export functionality. If you did this, I don't think you need to use a browser to get an unlock code.
  • The only way I can unlock maps is to use an old pc instead of a Mac

  • Garmin 53. The only way I managed that problem was to wipe it clean and install Garmin express on a very old HP laptop top. Before I was using Apple OS
