I've been using BaseCamp with e-Trext20 for a couple of months and still it's a lot of useless, un logical program.
1. mapcontrols are anything but intuitive
2. menu options are disabled for na apparent reason. I had to look online why a menu item is disabled.
3. managing personal waypoints and maps just offers enable/disable. Why not call it that or make it REALLY manage stuff.
4. installation of maps is poor. It doesn't even download properly (it just stops after 50%, but I payed $189 for the full 100%) all because you require a plugin. Why not have basecamp do the importing and downloading. At least show a message as to WHY the download stopped.
5. why have 3 pieces of software do what BC is supposed to do: manage everything instead of BC + express + IE11 + POI loader + .... -> this indicates that your release management is done by a retard. Otherwise you wouldn't ship it until it was COMPLETELY finished.
concentrate on the functional stuff instead of just the 'fancy' stuff. I looking for a REAL gps at the moment. I can't believe people are THAT stupid as to keep buying Garmin.
Your e-Trex is even too stupid to center the current position. I have to manually find my own position WHILE WALKING!!!!!!
