I am not able to reproduce this...

In order to reproduce this the waypoint being edited needs to be part of a route, otherwise there is no recalc and therefore no issue.
• I am not able to reproduce this. Strange. Can you send me an e-mail to "][email protected] with your current data?

I don't think this is entirely new, though it may have changed some, I think it was reported a long time ago. In 4.4.7, for example, any number you type in the coordinates field of waypoint properties, the number typed is inserted, remaining numbers are pushed to the right, and the total coordinate is truncated to the "correct" number of digits, losing the last digit. If numbers are deleted, the coordinate is padded with zeros immediately to get to the "correct" length. All this while moving the point with every change. Yes, it makes manual editing virtually pointless.

My solution has always been to view the mis-located waypoint in google earth (after creating it in BC at close to the right place if necessary), adjust the GE view to center at the exact point I really want the waypoint, copy the center-screen coordinates (ctrl-shift-C) and paste them into the coord field in BC, BAM, it jumps to the exactly correct location. Works great for how I use it. YMMV...
• Yes, I was able to get my waypoint back by cutting and pasting the entire position field from a previous copy of the waypoint. But that is ridiculous to have to do it that way. You should be able to change a digit or two in the listed coordinates with normal text editing techniques.

@ terKo

I've already asked this question a few days ago, you won't get a reply, seems the experts on here are very selective with the posts they reply to. You'd have a better chance asking on my wife's knitting circle forum, I'm heading over there now ...

OSM Maps Will not load

All My OSM Generic Maps will not load anymore.

I get the error: "An Error Occured when attempting to use OSM Generic Routable (....) map product"

Edit: All these Maps are loaded onto a USB Drive.
• Load from where? I use OSM maps on devices and installed on my PC. All are working.

Edit: Just seen your edit. Maps on USB stick also work.

Any idea how to trouble shoot this ? I just tried another USB Stick and same issue.

Already disabled all protection sw on PC (Windows 8.1) and no go. I just used the same maps today with the older version of BC and no problems.

I see this when starting BC

Well there's really only one Garmin developer who visits here and he doesn't work 24/7 so don't expect an immediate response.

Oh I see. For whatever reason that wasn't clear to me. I will try again.
