I have got many problems with routing on my gpsmap 62s
* suddenly today, won't start route when I press "show on map"
* If a rout is to long (to long have been from 5 km to around 30, it depends on how the unit feels i guess)
* When I choosen a route and riding it, then take a shortcut/longer way around, and then joining in the route again, it want's me to go back from where i left the route and go form there.
* When I'. on a route, and don't want it anymore. To delete the route is not possibole. I can delete it, so it doesn't show in the menu, but the route on the map is still visibale, very anoying. The trick for me her, is to create a new route, with just a few points, some 10-20m a head, when I have finished that route, then i can see the map as normal again.
So..... after all theese bugs, I have stopped using routes. When going on places I dont know, i use waypoints to mark where i have to make turns. (bike and walking) or waypoints along the path/directions outside roads/paths when I'm walking "offpiste" in the woods.
