Is it possible to delete "found" Geocaches from a Dakota 20 without connecting to a PC? If not how do I do it when connected to my PC? I do not want to delete any caches that I have not yet found.
Just as it's not possible to load geocaches to a Dakota without connecting to a PC so you cannot delete them without doing so. I use Basecamp which enables you to see all your caches and delete the ones you wish to delete.
Thanks for your reply but it does not really help. I load my GC codes individually and it is not possible to tell from the .gpx file which ones have been found. It seems to me the only way to go is to delete all my caches and reload those I still wish to find. I know that the Pocket Query method is the way to go but I have not been successful in loading these to my Dakota.
Sorry but I don't follow your argument. It doesn't matter how you load them, Basecamp will allow you to delete those you wish and indicate to you which (if any) you've found so you can simply delete just those ones should you wish to. I do it all the time.
Additionally, just FYI PQs once you've unzipped them are simply copied to the GPX folder, either on the GPS or on a card if you're using one. It's simplicity itself.
