Trip Planner is not accounting for travel time correctly when flying international.

So I set up my trip planner to start it's flight from LAX to Frankfurt International airport. Unfortunately it doesn't account for the travel time correctly. So although it accounts for the time conversion, it doesn't add a day to the calendar. So if I'm flying on August 1st from LAX and will arrive on August 2nd into Germany it shows the entire flight only on the 1st. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!
