Altitude missing on basecamp waypoints in Fenix 3

I've just noticed that all the waypoints I exported from Basecamp to my Fenix3 show altitude zero.

These waypoints are taken from Google Earth and saved as .kmz then grabbed by basecamp... is there a way I can fix this and add altitude to these points?

Even if i have to delete manually all the points from the watch (basecamp doesn't do that and there's no other way) i would like to fix these waypoints and find a way to also give elevation to the new ones I'll import un the future.
Does anybody know how to?

    Hello Z-74,

Google Earth does not store elevations with its waypoints.
You can add elevations manually in BaseCamp.
Open GE in a reduced window showing your waypoints.
Open BaseCamp in a reduced window showing your waypoints,
In GE put the cursor over the first waypoint and read the elevation at the bottom of the screen.
In BaseCamp double click the same waypoint and add the elevation in the properties box.
    Tedious but effective.

If you have a Garmin Topo map in BaseCamp you can just double click each waypoint, put cursor over the waypoint, read the elevation on the bottom left corner of your screen and then add to the properties box.

If your topo is not Garmin you will have to visually estimate the elevation from the contour lines and add to the properties box.

I had thought there had to be something like that...

the tedious thing is not to add the manual data to the waypoints in BC... the problem is that BC can't delete the waypoints in the damn fenix3... this means I've got to manually delete 50 points on the watch, one by one, then do the procedure you said. Thank you very much indeed. Now I can use the elevation indicators that tell the difference between one waypoint and the other (it means vertical distance, yup!). ... if I survive the nervous breakdown ... :)
