Garmin eTrex10 not displaying streetnames in the display

I own Garmin eTrex10 I can see some road names in Garmin Base camp but same map which is in the Garmin eTrex10 is not displaying the road names. Is there any setting I need to change so that it displays the streetnames in the GPS.
The eTrex 10 has no map display capability other than the dismal Worldwide base map supplied when new. BaseCamp has a basic worldwide map pre-installed which is at least 10 times better than the practically useless diluted version in an eTrex 10.
Spare memory in an eTrex 10 is so limited that sometimes in order to do a WebUpdater software update it is first necessary to delete unused text language and help files.
