Zumo 660 Stick to My Route?

I'm not sure if I have the right forum here. It's my first post, so be gentle...

I just got a Zumo 660 for use with my motorcycle. I would like to set up an interesting route in BaseCamp, load it to the 660, and NOT have the 660 recalculate it, ever. If I get off my route, I would like the 660 to guide me back to my route, not recalculate the route to my destination.

Is this the way the 660 operates normally, or is there some way I can assure this? Do I need to pepper my route with waypoints?

As you're talking about a Zumo behaviour rather than Basecamp you should post here www.zumoforums.com where you'll get the help you need from Zumo owners.
