Hi,
I'm very new to GPS devices, Garmin, and Basecamp (I got Garmin Express working and updating at least :D).
My problem is the following:
I have a saved favourite place, and there are two highways connecting my home to that favourite. One highway is the shortest and fastest route (although by a mere 5 minutes), but it's an incredibly frustrating ride because of the road quality and intersections. My Garmin device (2599) keeps selecting the fastest and shortest route. I ignore it and tell it first to go to a city on the second route, and subsequently tell it to go to the saved favourite. Is there a way for my to save the other route as the favourite instead of this rather complicated workaround?
More specific info:
I live in Bruges, Belgium.
The favourite is in Brasschaat, Belgium.
My device tells me to take the E34, but I want to take the E40 to Ghent and then the E17 to Brasschaat.
