Active log from Nuvi 765?

I have been using a Nuvi 855 and found through this forum that I can access the active logs or the actual route gpx by removing the battery, replacing it and using Basecamp to "recieve from device".

I got another Nuvi 765 for the Bluetooth turn by turn directions. WIll it also provide active logs? I have tried using Basecamp to download them but no luck. Do I have to remove and replace the battery with this model also or are active logs not available with this model?

Not quite sure what you mean by active logs. If you mean the trip logs then yes, Basecamp should read them without you needing to remove the battery, it reads the trip logs from all my Garmin devices.

"Active Log" is the name given to each track, internally, in the trip log file.

Well we need to know what the OP is meaning ... either way the logs should show in Basecamp. Of course it's possible on some devices to turn off recording, in which case they won't show. I don't know if that's possible on the 765.

On the nuvi 7x5, you can turn off the display of the trip log but not the recording of the trip log. It is always recorded.
