BaseCamp does not see internet connection

I am new to using basecamp and but I have downloaded other adventures recently but did so when I was logged in before. At this point it works fine when I am just plotting or uploading from my pc or GPS but now when I try to do so ( online ) to download others adventures or publish my own it comes up with an error message saying. I am online with everything else, I have tried several browsers, but can not log in or use online functions with basecamp

Error message is (New adventure could not be downloaded please check your internet connection or try again later).....

Help please. I have a big trip coming up fast which is why I bought the new gps for to begin with

Log out of here and then try. If still not working you'll need to phone Garmin.

I've tried logging out of everything, still doesn't work.
I can login at home so I know I'm using the correct details.

So where are you trying to sign in? If you can do it at home, and that point wasn't clear earlier, then if for example you're trying to do it at work it could be an issue with your works system, perhaps it blocks certain sites?

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem as described in post #4. I can log in via website but not through Basecamp.

Any idea how could it be fixed?

Bit more information would help. What OS are you using? What BaseCamp version? Have you ever been able to log in or is this a recent issue? Have you tried all the steps above, in particular logging out of Garmin and then logging in via BaseCamp?

I´m using Windows XP and Basecamp 4.2.5. It´s the first time I try to log in from Basecamp. The reason is that I was trying to upload an Adventure.

I´ve also tryied loging out from the website and log in through Basecamp. It didn´t work.

I've just logged in with no issues so there is either an issue with your PC or your account. To rectify it try calling Garmin Support.

i have got the same problem. BaseCamp says: "could not connect to myGarmin. check your internet connection and try again". the sam time I can login to Garmin Express app.
MacOS version 10.13.1

any idea ?

funnily enough if I type wrong password I get an error message: "the username or password you entered is incorrect". so definitely there is a internet connection
