Follow track on Etrex 30

Hi, I would like to know how following a track on my Etrex 30 works.

For example, I have a round-trip track from point A to point B and back to point A. If I am located in a middle point, how will the device tell me the remaining km? It's not the same if I start walking directly towards point A or if I want first to go to point B after going back to point A.

How does it work?

If you're navigating a route or a track you'll get a countdown to end wherever you are, assuming you have selected the appropriate data field.
