I have downloaded some trip files to my Nuvi 3597. When I touch 'trip planner' they are there as unscheduled trips. If I touch one of these I see all the waypoints listed out. When I touch "map" I see a map with a pink line which joins the waypoints with straight lines. If I press "GO" and then look at the map, still the pink line doesn't follow the roads. I just joins the waypoint with straight lines. How do I get the device to display the actual route so that I can drive from point to point ?
What map do you have loaded? This behaviour indicates a non routeable map.
As far as I know its completely standard. Since buying it all I have done is a map update but that was some time ago. Routings and maps all work fine for everything else.
