It is very easy to make a single mistake in BC that takes you to a view of the map a long way away from where you were. Sometimes it is not even necessary to make a mistake; just a simple focus change swaps the current map view for another that is possibly thousands of miles away from the previous point. In these cases getting back to the previous map view can be a bit of a pain.
For this, and also for general usefulness, a View -> Back feature, with a shortcut, similar to Undo, would IMO be a welcome addition to BaseCamp.
