Track Panel Display Field

The Mapsource track panel has fields that display track property such as time and length (see attached image ms1.gif).
I cannot find such fields in Basecamp (seed attached image bc1.gif). The track information are only available after a track is clicked.
Is there anyway to show these information directly on the track panel so that I can have a better view of the tracks.

    Half-way up the left side of the map pane is a tab (it is visible in your second image). Click on the tab to swap positions of the map pane with the lower left pane. Click on the track symbol at the top to show only tracks, which will also show additional information specific to tracks.

    Thanks for your instruction. I was able to switch the pane.
    But only 3 fields, namely, Symbol, Name, and Type are listed as shown in the attached image.
    Would you please instruct me how to have additional fields to be displayed. I would like to have time and length to be listed as in Mapsource.

    Maybe it's just me. The Basecamp user interface is not as intuitive as Mapsource.

    Click on the Track Icon in your data window (you bc2 gif)., or double click on the track itself.

    Track detail

    This problem annoyed me too. It took me a while to find how to get the information. Here's how:
    • Use the 'Swap Map and Data Views' option.
    • The Data pane has its own toolbar. Click on the 'Show tracks' button
    • The resulting view displays the track data like MapSource.
    • You can resize the Data pane to make it smaller and the Map pane to make it bigger if you want to make that view your default
