Off road trails not appearing on BaseCamp

Hi,

I'm a newbie, so apologies if this is a daft question!

I've just purchased a Touring Plus.

When I loaded BaseCamp for the first time, I could see all the local off road trails - great as I do a fair amount of mountain biking.

However, I updated the maps on my new device, and now all off road trails have disappeared from BaseCamp.

BaseCamp is using City Navigator Europe NT 2014.4, but my device has Garmin Cycle Map EU 2015.10 enabled. I can see off road trails on my device.

If I try to install maps from my device to BaseCamp, it tells me that there are no other unlocked maps on the device.

I have to say that I found the map updating process to my device quite tricky. It took so long, that my laptop kept turning off and I had to start again several times, resetting the device to Factory Settings at one point.

You can't 'install maps from your device to Basecamp'. Basecamp will though (or at least should) read the maps off your device. Note that if this is a new map (an update is a new map) then it can take a while for Basecamp to index the map so it can be used.

You should see a green progress bar under the map on your device in the top left hand pane in Basecamp. Wait for that to complete. Now the map should be selectable under the Maps button in the toolbar.
