Error when contacting Garmin Support

Whenever I try to contact Garmin Support either from inside BaseCamp or from a search engine I always receive the following error message:-

An exception occurred processing JSP page /searchSupport/case.jsp at line 18 15: 16: <html xmlns="www.w3.org/.../xhtml"> 17: 18: <f:view locale="#{kanaSearchHandler.locale}"> 19: <f:loadBundle basename="LocalizationResources" var="i18n" /> 20: <!-- This is intentionally commented out. Invoking this method will check to see if the request has a caseId parameter. 21: If caseId is found, we will popuulate the handler with the given case id information. Stacktrace:

Caused by:
java.lang.NullPointerException - /searchSupport/case.jsp(18,0) '#{kanaSearchHandler.locale}' Error reading 'locale' on type com.garmin.support.kana.faces.KanaSearchHandler

I am using Windows 7 and Firefox 37.0.2

Any ideas?

How are you trying to contact Garmin from within Basecamp? I can log in and report map errors from within BC. If that's what you're talking about then perhaps try a reinstall of BaseCamp and/or try a different browser.

I went to BirdsEye/What is this? and received the error message. Also from Google(my search engine of choice) whenever I attempt toreach anything beginning support.garmin.com i receive the same error message.

Then there is an issue somewhere with your mac. Are you running something like ghostery? Programs like that can block certain websites.

I am running Ghostery. However I have disabled it and re-booted but the problem persists.The error seems to be caused by something called MyFaces :-

Unfortunately I'm not a developer so it's all meaningless to me

Me neither but it doesn't seem like a Garmin issue. I believe myFaces is linked with Java, have you tried uninstalling it? Or doing as suggested and looking in Disabling error handling in myFaces?
